Mothers Day/ Skyping with Sister Browning

Man oh man! This weekend was surely one that I thoroughly enjoyed! All of my sisters came home, except for Erica of course who is serving a mission in South Carolina, and it was so fun! Friday night was a night filled with laughter and good times. We have this little family that lives right across the street from us with a few kids that like to come over and visit...mostly just jump on our trampoline or get a popsicle ...but there is one little boy is who so stinking cute it is hard to get over it! His name is Kyson and he is 3 years old. He came over to say hi and Heidi asked him to pack all of his baby sister Adley's clothes so Heidi can take her home...kidding of course. When he quickly said no Heidi returned with well you can come too then, and she encouraged him not to tell his mom...again kidding of course...but Kyson said of course and we didn't expect to see him again for a while seeing as how either 1. he would get distracted and go play, or 2. his mom would catch what he was doing and stop him. Well 15 minutes later his soft little knock was at the door and he had a suitcase full of clothes...all his clothes pretty sure...and he was ready to go. When we asked where Adley's clothes were he said oh I don't really want her to come anymore. Once he realized what was happening he quickly backed out too. It was the highlight of our night we were laughing so hard!

Let me just introduce to you the BEST Mom in the world! This woman has been my best friend since I can remember. I am not at all ashamed to admit that I am exactly like my mother! We both share a love of organizing, deep cleaning, and throwing things away! She is such an awesome mom and I would be lucky to be half the mom she is one day! I'm 20 years old and I still need her, probably more than ever. She's the only one who can calm me down, and help me think things through! She is such an awesome person in general!
I love you Mom!!

We also got to skype with Sister Browning today! She sounded great and is still loving her mission! It was awesome to hear how she's doing in person! Emails are great but it's just not the same as hearing their voice! She is so awesome and is such a great example to me! Next time we talk will be in person!!! November can't come quick enough!

Lagoon!

Yesterday was such a blast! I was able to go to Lagoon with Dakota which was our last big hoorah for Summer! It was so fun! This girl is so easy to get along with and we have so much fun together!

So Dakota had a hurt back and I had a nasty cold but we were determined to make it a fun day, and boy was it fun!

So we neither one of us are very fond of really spiny rides and neither of us are very daring but we decided to do something that probably wasn't the best idea! We rode the Colossal twice in a row and then rode Wicked twice in a row these two are probably a couple of the most stomach turning roller coasters there and we rode them one after the other. After that we were both feeling really sick and rode just a couple of baby rides and just decided to go home! The weather was beautiful and it really wasn't that packed! It was a great day!

By the end of the day we were pooped and realized we aren't as young as we used to be!

Bike rides and Car talk!

So the fun with Dakota has continued and I don't see it stopping until she leaves for her Summer job in a few weeks!

Last night Dakota texted me and asked if I wanted to go for a bike ride! I said of course I love riding bikes...so off we went in a beautiful night! It was perfect for bike riding not too hot not too chilly all we needed was a light jacket! When we came back it turned out to be pretty dead at my house so we decided to go for a drive! It was great! We came back and just sat and talked and it was awesome!

I am sure going to miss Dakota this summer but I am so excited for her to have an adventure and just a little jealous I'll admit! But if anyone deserves it it's this girl!

Four-wheeler riding, Forever Friends, Lagoon= Best day ever!

The past couple of days have been some of the best days I have had in a long while! My best friend Dakota and I got some much needed catching up/playing time in! It's been so fun, and we both agreed that we may be a little immature for our age I mean we are 20 and we still love to play outside but we're just glad we have each other to play with!

So Thursday we decided to go ride four-wheelers around my Grandma's farm. Well my Grandma Stocking is probably the sweetest Grandma and saw us outside getting ready to go and brought out her huge bowl of M&M's for us to snack on...She just kept getting handfulls and putting them in our pockets! She is known as the M&M Grandma to us!

We pull the four-wheelers out and couldn't get one of them to start...so we used all the knowledge our farmer dad's had taught us including pull starting it and nothing would work...so change of plans we went to Dakota's house and rode 4-weelers there and it was still so fun!

I love riding 4-wheelers it has been something I enjoy since I can remember! I used to love going to work with my Dad because I knew he would always have a 4-wheeler to ride somewhere!

Ok so funny story! We went to go visit Dakota's Grandma who is well into her 80's and just a cute little lady! We told her we were riding 4-wheelers and jokingly Dakota said, "oh Grandma do you want to come ride?" We thought she would laugh and say oh no I couldn't but she took us literally and asked if there was a spot for her. She went to the bathroom and combed her hair, put on some lipstick and got her shoes on. Dakota told her we would go get her groceries instead! I was laughing so hard and Dakota didn't know what to do haha! It was so funny!

After 4-wheeling, we went to get Forever Friends milkshake, its a must on a best friend day! We also went and bought Lagoon tickets for next Saturday! We are so excited and the weather is supposed to be super nice so fingers crossed it stays that way!

After all that fun we decided not to let the fun stop there! We went outside in the beautiful weather and jumped on the tramp...something normal 20 year olds wouldn't necessarily enjoy doing but hey we're fun!

We're also very photogenic on the tramp! haha!

*Dakota decided to be superman in this pose and I decided to be a dog...it's fine!

We could tell we were young 16 year olds anymore after that and decided to call it a night just to have more fun the next day!

Since I've Been Home!

Since I've been home I haven't done a whole heck of a lot! I moved home two weekends ago and then went back to Rexburg to stay with Heidi for a week while Kyle went to Utah to work. I don't have a whole heck of a lot of pictures because well I didn't do a whole heck of a lot! I was planning to leave on Thursday but I had a little incident coming home from Idaho Falls Wednesday night! So Heidi and I had gone to dinner and we were on our way home when Roger started to make a funny noise...a noise I had never heard before. But me being the naive little kid I am thought nothing of it and kept on a driving. We made it home and right as we hit the parking lot something fell out of Roger and I knew it wasn't good. After Heidi and I stopped laughing at how ridiculous this car is, but don't worry I am very grateful to have a car at all, we got out to see what had happened! Well the muffler fell off! No big deal right? Well turns out its not a very big deal but I decided to be better safe than sorry and just get it fixed in Rexburg rather drive home without a muffler! So I decided to stay another night and continue our Keeping up with the Kardashians marathon with Heidi! I'm not complaining though because after being busy busy busy all the time. Doing nothing is all I wanted to do! So Thursday morning I woke up to go fix up good ol' Roger! I took him to the mechanic after talking to my Dad and deciding it was a reasonable price to fix and was worth it. The mechanic went out to check under the hood and if you know anything about Roger you'll know there is a string you have to pull to pop the hood. Which not many people know and I was rather embarrassed when the mechanic came back in to ask how to pop the hood. After that little problem was solved all was well and we were able to fix him good as new! Once he was all fixed I took him through the car wash, filled him up with gas and vacuumed him out. I thought he deserved it! I headed home on Friday and since then have started my job for the summer babysitting. I've decided not to go back to Progressive and just take an easy summer! It will be nice I am babysitting for my old boss Heather. Her girls are adorable, Lux is 5 and Sayde is 2. Lux is bossy and in charge, reminds me a lot of myself, and Sayde does everything Lux does to a T. They are such cute girls and I'm excited to spend the summer with them! This Summer is going to be a different one I feel because we don't have as much going on. Holli isn't doing 4-H so this will be the first year since I can remember not have calves to take care of. Last summer we were saving up for our Alaska trip and we don't have that this Summer. I'm sure we will find ways to keep us plenty busy but for now things are nice and calm and Summer plans are to just enjoy being home!

End of the Semester!

The day finally came and the semester ended! It was such a great feeling to see this on my I-Learn!

To celebrate the end of the semester we lit sparklers, went to see President Clark's house, packed up our rooms, and did nothing!

Friday I moved home and as I was packing my car, Roger, I quickly realized I had way to much stuff and not enough room! Problem! Luckily Hyle had my Dad's old pick-up and I was able to take that home, but I was still a little embarrassed that I had that much stuff! But that means I get to go back to Rexburg to take the pick-up back and I get to stay with Heidi! Kyle went to Utah for a week and Heidi and I are going to PAR-TAY! I can't wait!

Since I've been home I've unpacked, eaten the famous Doc's Pizza, Played with Baby Adley, Played, with Sassy, and watched Lifetime movies with Holli! It's been great!

It is so nice to be home, and I love that I can just relax and not worry about school! I have a feeling this is going to be a great summer!

Conference Weekend!

This weekend was so much fun! All of my roommates went to Salt Lake for conference, but because it was the weekend before finals I opted out and stayed here! Initially I was bummed because I was going to be All By Myself. But luckily the sweet girls in 508 took me under their wing and were my roommates for the weekend! Although we did absolutely nothing it was still so great!

Friday night we went to dinner at Winger's where I told my deepest darkest secrets  not really but it was so fun! Afterwords we just went back to their apartment and watched a movie where all but one of us fell asleep. It had been a long week!

Saturday morning we made breakfast for people to come over and watch conference! Conference was so great! I never leave a session in a bad mood, or disappointed to say the least! After conference we did homework, laundry, and chilled until the second session where we again heard great inspired messages from our prophet and apostles. When conference was over the boys all left for priesthood session and we went ahead and used that time wisely to prank them! :] The apartment I was hanging with and this boys apartment are currently in a pranking war, and I was lucky enough to help pull one last night!

So the previous week the boys put alarm clocks in the girls vents and set them to go off at all hours of the night. The best part about it is the girls played it off like it didn't happen, so the boys were freaking out thinking their sneaky little prank didn't work! Little did they know...

So we took those alarm clocks and stuck them in their apartment, but that's not all we did! We switched EVERYTHING in their apartment. Switched the clothes in their closets, switched everything in their kitchen, bathroom, desk drawers and left cups on the floor! It was so great!

We also each stole a hat and and still have them to this hour! haha!

Sunday morning came and I went to Heidi's to watch conference and have breakfast! She made me the traditional Browning Conference Morning Breakfast, sausage biscuits and gravy! It was DELICIOUS! After the morning session I went back to my friends apartment and our bishop invited some kids to watch the second session of conference and have dinner. So I quickly got ready and off to Idaho Falls we went! It was so sweet of them and their house is so homey that it made me feel at home!

Dinner was so great! I ate plenty to last me for a month...It was so good!

Now here I sit dreading the week to start because it is finals...but that only means I am that much closer to going home! :] I just can't wait!
