Island Park

This last week, Wednesday-Sunday, my family and I took our annual trip up to the Browning Cabin in Island park! This is a place I have been going to since I can remember and is also a place I have the most fun memories from! We always go to the cabin and go through West Yellowstone to look for animals...our main objective is always a bear but we always have fun regardless! This year was a little bit different...my sister, Erica is currently serving a mission in South Carolina and was not able to go this year. This was her most favorite thing to do...She dreamed of becoming a wolf biologist in West by day and then being owning a restaurant at night when she was little...well realistically it was more like when she was 15 but it was definitely a different trip without her! Our trips always consist of picnic in the park, Ice-cream at Mammoth and candy in West. We go swimming, hiking, rent movies from Elk Creek, and just RELAX!!! It has been our families favorite vaca. and really the only one we have ever taken! Here are some pics so that you can get just a glimpse at the fun we have up there!

This is the Osprey’s nest right at our cabin road. This nest is here every year and, when I was a kid you could see this thing over the trees…now the trees are too tall! Guess that means I am getting old!

Girls trip...to Logan!

Ok so basically I have this really awesome friend Dakota Goff who comes up with really awesome ideas!   She invited me, and my sister Holli, to Logan with her and her sister Brecken! We left Thursday after work and had SO much fun! I can't believe how much we did in that little time! We got to Logan and went and ate at Chick-Fil-A, and then went for ice-cream at Charlies, so good! Then we went to a movie, What to Expect when your Expecting- must say it was pretty hilarious and great movie for a girls trip! We went to her apartment and went to bed...after an hour of laughing at each other of course...wouldn't be a girls trip without that! But eventually we fell asleep and were able to sleep in the next morning! We woke up, had a great breakfast consisting of waffles, bacon and eggs, which was certainly a filling breakfast that we surely needed for our next adventure which was… ice-skating! Haha! I think we laughed at each other more than we skated but it was sure a good memory for us all! We went shopping after words and then headed home! All in all it was such a FUN and NEEDED girls trip with some awesome girls! I am so lucky to have such great friends who I have so much fun with!

One of my favorite holidays, mostly because it is in the Summer, and I love me some hot sun! These past couple of weeks have been a blast, Rupert Fireworks, Food on the Square, BB-Q's, 4th of July Parade...my life rocks! Here are some snapshots of the best holiday in the Summer!
