Birthday Palooza!

So for President's Weekend we decided to surprise Holli for her 16th birthday and go home! She was convinced she was going to spend her sweet 16 with our mom and dad and to say she was devastated is an understatement. Imagine to her surprise when we all pulled in the driveway on Friday! Even though she is a teenager who pretends not to care about anything, we knew she was excited! We were all excited...especially Camden!

On Friday night we talked our mom into watch The Best of Me. THis is a Nicholas Sparks book turned movie and they are our mom's favorite...but she also hates them because they make her cry. But we were able to talk her into it and lets just say it didn't end well and Mom was not happy!

Saturday Holli and her best friend Tiffany were having a Sweet Sixteen party. It was their first boy girl party and they were pretty excited! I decided to do a few decorations for her and I have to say I was pretty proud of them! I really enjoy decorating and party planning...Normally stressful situations like that do me in, but for some reason I LOVE to decorate and make things look cute, and classy. I can definitely say I have found a hobby! :]

It seemed like Holli and her friends had a great time...we were too busy be embarrassing on the couch to really pay attention. Kyle and my dad built a bon fire for the kids and when they were done using it we took our turn! It was a such a nice night so we really enjoyed that and will definitely be doing that more often!

Sunday we went to church, and were able to take a nap! Normally when we go home on weekends we have to go home on Sunday we don't ever get a Sunday nap! But, since school was cancelled on Monday we were able to take a nap and actually enjoy it! I wish 3 day weekends happened more often! They are the perfect way to relax a little!

Ok I think these are probably the cutest pictures ever, and my dad would kill me if he knew I took them...but, it is adorable how much Dad, AKA Grandpa Browning loves this little guy! Everyone says they look exactly alike and when you put baby pictures side by side it is a little weird how much they do look alike! Baby Camden can't help but smile at everything Grandpa Browning does! It really melts your heart!

Monday was Holli's actual birthday! All she wanted was a "Gold Iphone 6" I thought that was appropriate since it was her Golden Birthday! She turned 16 on the 16th! (I didn't know that was a thing until college so I had already missed mine for my 15th) But wee all had her convinced she wasn't getting one...she actually believed us too because my dad hates buying us new phones like that but this spoiled little girl got just what she wanted! She was SO excited!

I think we all partied a little too hard and I'm now taking this stuff to kick a
cold! But it was all more than worth it!

It was also this awesome lady's birthday on the coming Wednesday and although we couldn't be there to spend it with her we still spoiled her too! She is the best Mom a girl could ever have!

Beginning of Winter Semester 2015!

School has been going great! I was pretty surprised when I came back and got right back into the swing of things because I had been off of school for about 9 months. But I was totally fine just jumping back in! I guess that's just the school teacher in me!

So the day Erica and I moved to Rexburg this sweet little boy was blessed! I didn't get any pictures of him on his blessing day, but here is one that will just make your heart melt! I love this little boy SO stinking much! I cannot imagine what it would be like to have my own baby!

The first day of school was quite the adventure! We were woken up at around 6:30 AM to the fire alarms going off. Confused and extremely tired, Erica and I grabbed our coats and headed outside to find water gushing off of the second floor balcony. It was freezing, we were tired, and very grumpy. Then to add to the list of problems, the sprinkler system started going off on the first floor...the floor Erica and I lived on. As soon as we noticed that Erica and I ran inside and moved our computers, phones, and anything else that could be ruined. Luckily the sprinklers never went off in the apartments only in the lobby areas but unluckily the water from the second floor started running down the walls and into our apartment. Luckily mine and Erica's room did not get a lot of water damage, only a little bit. But our other roommates bedroom was extremely flooded...it was terrible. Once they got the water turned off we were able to go in our apartments and get ready as well as can be expected with water all over the floor. The managers came and told us what happened, they tested the fire alarms, on the coldest day of the year, and when the sprinklers started to run the water froze inside of them. Fast forward two weeks the weather was warmer resulting in water thawing and leaking through the sprinkler system; resulting in it breaking a sprinkler and setting off the fire alarm. Our apartment definitely got the brunt of it as we were pretty much forced out of our apartment for the rest of the week, but it's ok because they paid us 50 bucks for each night we were out! So we basically had a huge roommate sleepover in our conference room! It certainly could have been a lot worse but the management was so good to us and made sure we were taken care of!

Life since then has been pretty boring. Erica and I joke that we are married to school, which is kinda true when you're a senior in college. However, we are having a lot of fun with the cutest baby boy in the world! We babysit him every Monday, Wednesday and Friday so we are getting to spend a lot of time with him and it is so fun!

Those smiles will melt anyone's heart, how can you not just want to kiss him all over?!?

Life is busy, really busy, but oh so good!!
