Freak blizzard!!!

Well last week was wonderful, school, work, homework, more school, more homework, gym and a few other things that are necessary to put but it was just another week! The snow had finally all melted, I was a little sad but I am ready for Spring! Last week was beautiful...at least the beginning was! Thursday night was a crazy day, it was sunny, rainy, windy, hailing, and then snowing! Pretty much a typical Idaho day. Except Thursday night a freak blizzard came into town! Literally it was snowing so hard, and by Friday morning we had a good three inches on the ground...by then I was really ready for Spring. I refused to wear boots so I still wore flats...not the brightest of ideas but I was showing Mother Nature who was boss! It was crazy!

** That cute little boy was at the gym parking lot scraping peoples car windows! He was so sweet, his name was William and he was 11. He even helped me clean off Roger! What a great kid!

Lately I have been in love with going to the gym! It is my life-saver. It always puts me in a good mood! I have been going every day for a while and I am feeling so so good!
I just love feeling good, and healthy and happy!
Here's what I do:

**I do the treadmill twice

This weekend was a great one! We have gotten into this blow-dart game...I feel like a ten year old boy when we are playing but it is so fun! We get in fights and gang up on each other it is really great! We put a dart board on our window but we decided it is much more fun to just hit each other.

Sunday was my last Sunday in this ward for a long time! This semester I had the opportunity to be second counselor in the Relief Society! It was such a great semester and I have grown to love all the girls I served with! It has been a great semester, but to be quite honest I am ready to go home for a while! It will be good for a long break! But I know I will be ready to go back by the end of it!

P.S. Happy almost Easter! Color some eggs, have some peeps, and a recess egg for me! :]

Holy cow!

Alright so it just hit me that there are only 24 yes that's right twenty-four, a two and a four. That's 10+10+4, or 12*2, or 30-6, thats right folks 24 days left of school! I can HARDLY believe it! Then I will go home for a good five month break...that's too long! OH well. School is winding up and I can hardly believe it...and when I come back I will be a Jr. Now thats even more crazy!

Alright alright! So I did celebrate a birthday this week. Yup, I am two decades, halfway to 40 or in others words I am 20. I don't feel much older, I don't act much older. I think the saying maturity doesn't come by age it comes by time is very true. None the less it t'was a great day indeed filled with lots of candy, my favorite cake, strawberry shortcake, all my favorite foods, and much more. I was able to go home and celebrate with my family which was absolutely wonderful! I am so blessed to have such a great family!

Here are some pictures of the awesome weekend!

I came home to a decorated room by the neighbor kids...they really do love me!

Beautiful Idaho! I can't wait for everything to be green again!

My super fabulous sisters and mom! So much fun!

All in all I can tell 20 is going to be a great year!!

My life......

Something I have recently discovered is that I get distracted easily...every Monday and Wednesday I have an hour and a half before my next class, so I usually go to the David O. McKay Library with all intentions of doing a lot of homework and well one thing leads to another and before ya know it Facebook, my blog and Instagram are all pulled up. I guess you could say I am avoiding homework...but who wouldn't!

Alright so the weekend was great! Not much happened but it was really nice to just chill and not be busy! Friday I was able to go to lunch with one of my best friends! Katelyn Knight Briggs is now married and that is just crazy! But she is still the same old Katelyn with the cutest style and the most beautiful singing voice with gorgeous hair! I love those two love birds!

Friday night I hung out with an old friend! I lived with Lizzy my very first semester and she was so fun! It was great to hang out and catch up! We made a little craft, played some ripple, and had a great time! I love her!

Saturday morning Heidi and I decided to go for a walk because it was SO nice! We started at her apartment and walked up to the Rexburg, Temple and back! It was beautiful! The skies were blue, there was hardly any snow and all we needed was a light jacket! Perfect!

Ok so funny story Heidi and I wanted to know how far we walked so we hopped in her car and drove up the hill and back- turned out to be about 4 miles-as we were sitting in her car in her parking lot there was this brigade of moms with their strollers and their dogs. Hahaha! Heidi and I about died laughing...only in Rexburg, Idaho would you see this! You may not think this is very funny but Heidi and I were crying we were laughing so hard!

Saturday night I had some plans fall through so I ended up just hanging out with Heidi and Kyle! It was great. I love going to their apartment it is just like my third home! First is my house in Paul, 2nd is my apartment at Nauvoo, and their apartment is third! We just watched Friends and chilled it was great!

Sunday was church and it was great as always! Katelyn and AJ invited me over for dinner with a few other friends and it was fun! The boys all talked in Portuguese and Kate and I just made cookies! It was great and the food was delicious! It was also my roommates birthday and she was coming home from Salt Lake so her sister and I decided to throw a little surprise party for her. Ok so I have come to the conclusion that I hate throwing parties! They stress me out way to much! I told everyone to be at my apartment at 8 and it turns out they weren't even getting back till like 9. So people were coming and I had to tell them to come back around 8:30 and I was just stressing out about the whole thing. The best part was we hid everyone in the hallway so she had no idea they were back there. She was taking her sweet time going back there though...she came in put her stuff down and just talked to us while about 35 people were crammed into our little hallway waiting for her to open the door! It was great surprise and she loved it!

Well that's it! Not much is going on this week except for one little thing! My BIRTHDAY! I am leaving the teen years! Not sure how I feel about it yet...I will let ya know!

Have a great week!

Weekend worth blogging!

This past weekend was definitely one worth blogging! We had a blast! Friday I wasn't feeling good, so I went and hung out with Hyle, that is my nickname for Heidi and Kyle. I spent the night and it was a great girls night because Kyle did homework all night. All we did is watch SVU and eat junk! It was great! Saturday I woke up and we made, well Heidi made, sausage biscuits and gravy. It was DELICIOUS! mmm mmm! I went home, did homework, planned a lesson for Relief Society- which I nailed! And just chilled! Saturday night I went sledding with my ward! It was so so so much fun! On the way there was quite an adventure. So before we even left, our bishop said ok there are two ways to get there. One way is really muddy and dangerous and the other way is pretty slushy but a lot easier to get through so take that way. So we are one of the last cars to leave and we just follow one of our friends out there...she works out there so she knew where she was going. Well it just so happens she decides to go the way the bishop said not to go and lets just say Hanna Scott's car Mega-Tron was a beast! The car in front of us not so much. They spun out and ran right into a snow bank! We just waited for our Bishop to come and save us but while we were there we just made it fun!

** Ok so my roommate has this random fear of humans crawling at her...like she FREAKS out! It is actually something that we all get a kick out of...not very nice but very entertaining!

After we got them unstuck we were on the road again...where we saw a herd of elk! I didn't get any pictures it was too dark but they were there I promise! After we saw the elk a baby moose was just trotting it's way down the road! It was quite an adventure I'd say!

Sledding was a blast...they had chili and cornbread, not cinnamon rolls like I grew up with but it was just as TASTY! But nonetheless it was so fun!

** Here is a video of Hannah Groom's and I going down the hill!

Sunday was great! Church was wonderful, and the CES fireside by Elder Bednar was great! Something that our apartment really enjoys doing is going for drives...especially on a Sunday night when there is nothing to do! We blast our music and jam out! Tonight was one of those nights...we added two extra girls who made the night just as great! It was a great way to end the weekend!

** Here is a taste of us serenading one of our good friends! Enjoy!
