One of the Best Weekends EVER!!!

This last weekend was the best one I’ve had in a while! I got to go stay with Dakota in Logan, and she sure knows how to show someone a good time!

Erica and I got to Logan Friday night, and were greeted with wonderful sunsets. I'm a sucker for a beautiful sunset. Dakota had a delicious dinner waiting for me! It was so sweet of her! After I got settled for a minute we went to watch a gymnastics competition! It was sweet, some of those girls have got some serious muscle and skill! It was insane and so fun!

After the competition we hung out with some of her friends and went to meet who works at a Sushi place in Logan. His family owns the Chinese Restaurant in Rexburg called Fongs. It’s a favorite of my families…he was pretty cool and gave us some sushi! I don’t necessarily like sushi a whole lot, but I was willing to try it and it honestly wasn't that terrible!

Dakota and I got really hyper for some odd reason…it is always at the most random moments, but Friday night was a fun one. I’ll just leave it at that! :]
So......here is a glimpse into Dakota showing off her serious knife skills!

Saturday morning Dakota, her good friend Abby and I woke up to go to a Zumba class…it was a great way to start the day! Following Zumba we went to the Logan temple! It was such a great morning!

Afterwords we decided to nap and get ready for the day, Dakota came up with a brilliant idea to make her room darker for our nap…a shower curtain. It did the job, and that’s all that matters!

And again we got a little hyper! haha!

Yes she is sitting on my head...yup that's my best friend! haha!

That night we went to a Utah State Basketball Game! Although they didn’t come out winners, Dakota and I decided to see the positive in the situation and congratulate them on playing hard! That’s what truly matters right?

After the game Dakota and I went to Coldstone for some yummy ice-cream! What’s a party without some ice-cream?

Sunday we went to church and it was so nice outside! I didn’t want to leave to go back to ‘ice’burg! However, I can’t complain too much. It hasn’t been incredibly awful lately! Fingers crossed it stays that way!

This weekend was a blast! I’m so glad to have such a great friend like Dakota; she truly is the most genuine person and knows how to have fun! And that’s why we are friends!

Jackson Hole

President's day was wonderful! My parents came up and Monday took us all to Jackson Hole! It was a lot of fun! My mom's birthday was the 18th (the day after President's Day) so we told her she could do whatever she wanted...she wanted to go to Jackson Hole and spend the day with her kids! So her wish was granted, plus a little extra her favorite child, me, was there! We started the day off by enjoying beautiful scenery along the way! I have never been so close to the Tetons before, I couldn't stop taking pictures! The mountains were also gorgeous! Covered with snow! It was a beautiful drive!

After we got there my Dad wanted to show us this cool elk refuge...basically they feed the elk and they will give you a ride out to see the hundreds of elk! It was pretty cool, we didn't go on the wagon but we could see plenty from a distance! All those black dots are the elk! They were pretty awesome!

After we saw the elk we went to look at the museum where they had a lot of different statues of different animals...they had buffalo, moose, wolves, eagles, deer, and so on. Erica and I had a lot of fun posing with these animals...This is truly showing mine and Erica's true colors!

After the museum we went to the ski resort to take a gondola ride up to a restaurant to eat lunch. The ride up the mountain was awesome, the view was incredible. We felt a little out of place because we were the only people not skiing, but it was worth it!

Also if you don't know Holli here is a fun fact about her, she is terrified of heights...especially Ferris wheels and gondolas it was pretty funny!

This weekend was awesome and just what I needed...my family is the best!

Happy Birthday Holli!

This weekend was so fun! It was President's Day weekend so we had an extra long weekend, much needed. Sadly this is our last break from school for the rest of the semester...only 53 days left! I can't wait to have a break. Summer is still really up in the air. It will be my last summer home most likely so I want to do something fun and I have a lot of options that I am certainly going to take advantage of...we just have to wait and see!

So back to the weekend! Holli came up on Friday to spend the weekend with us! It has been so fun! I love having her here! Friday night we just hung out! Seriously, what would I ever do without my sisters? They are the best friends a girl could ask for!

Saturday we woke up bright and early and went to the temple...it was wonderful!
Afterwords Holli and I took a really long nap...also wonderful!

After that our ward had a huge sledding trip up at this resort called Badger Creek. It was so fun, we definitely got our workout in for the day walking up that hill a million times but it was so worth it!

We were all so tired afterwords that we decided to go get Costa Vida and just watch a movie, and do face masks...it was a girls night at it's finest!

Sunday was Holli's birthday! The big 1-5! Can't believe this girl is 15! Crazy how fast time flies! My parents came up today and had cake and ice-cream with us!

Then we decided we should do some homework before our big day tomorrow to Jackson Hole! Can't wait for another day full of adventures!

P.S: So it was SUPER cold for a while and Erica, Allie, and I wanted to see if boiling water really evaporated in this cold weather...it does sort of. Haha watch the video to find out! :]

Last weekend!

Wow, finding time to blog is so hard to do now-a-days! Crazy how busy we can get!

Well this was the last weekend adventures of my life! Erica and I went to a contest on campus called, "Slam-Dunk" It was seriously so cool. They had a ton of different competitions and some people have some serious skills! It was insane!

The first contest consisted of three teams who each had one girl student, one boy student, and a teacher. They had to play around the world with each other and then make a basket from the half-court line in under two minutes. I first thought no way could they do that in two minutes that is impossible it is all luck. Well they all got pretty lucky! They all made it and they all did it in under a minute and a half! It was insane and so fun!

Then they would have little half-time shows in between. The best one was the jump-roping team. These people have a national title, so you know they're good! Some of the stuff they did I am pretty sure defied physics but they somehow managed to flip, and spin, and break-dance while jumping rope! They were amazing, definitely a good show! (Sorry the video's are sideways, I have no idea why!)

The next big contest was the 'Slam Dunk' This was so fun to watch...it is basically what it says. They had about five people and they were judged on creativity, style, and of course whether they made it or not! It was so fun!

Some people got pretty creative...like this one kid he proposed to his girlfriend. Yea, that was a pretty cool idea I bet the other guys were pretty jealous! And yes I am that creepy girl that recorded it all...I don't care it was precious!

The next day I went to Logan with Heidi, I was able to see my friend Dakota and hang out with her for a bit! It's always nice to get away for a little while and see a change of scenery other than Rexburg!

One Big Party!

This past weekend was surely one for the books. It was great!

Friday night Erica and I had a ton of homework and decided to be responsible and get it done so we could enjoy the rest of our weekend!

Saturday Erica and I decided to go to Idaho Falls and play around, my mom being the greatest mom in the world gave us money to go have fun! She's a true gem!

We decided to go to lunch at Red Robin *yummmmmm* It certainly was! Next we went to Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, and just played around. Fun fact about Erica and I...we tend to get a little goofy and weird when we are together, my family all gets pretty embarrassed but we just don't care...haha maybe that explains why we aren't married! ;] But in Bed Bath and Beyond we had a good time trying out all of their massage chairs, back scratchers, and foot massagers. It was good fun!

Friday night we wanted to go and do something fun, so we decided to go play laser tag. My gun quit working but I got to go and switch out guns and then I had the upper hand to sneak attack the rest of my team...they never saw me coming!

Sunday was the Super Bowl! Most of us were rooting for the Broncos so it was kinda a bust, but no worries the food made up for it! Seriously the food is THE best part, there is no damper on a party with good food!

We had so much food, these are just a couple of pictures. It was a great time!

The weekend was pretty great! There is nothing wrong with a relaxing weekend with good food! :]
