No...It's not Thanksgiving!

Today my roommate  gave a WONDERFUL talk in sacrament meeting today about gratitude so naturally my wheels started turning and it really made me think how blessed I really am! I take so much for granted and I can't help but feel guilty when I see someone who has gone through so much with a smile on their face looking forward to another day. A family from my hometown have been going through a really hard time. Their son has cancer and is most likely not going to live for more than another day. His wife blogs about the trials they are going though but she never forgets to be thankful for the wonderful people who have done small acts of kindness towards them. If you would like to read about them, click here. This has changed my perspective towards life in general! I feel so blessed to be born to amazing parents who love and support me in everything, to be born into the gospel, to have sisters who will always be my friends, to live in a free country. Simple little things that are I look over every day. I could go on and on with the blessings I am fortunate enough to live with. I am going to make it a priority in my life to be more grateful, and realize my blessings. My only hope through this is that I will become less selfish and more self-less.

Here's to wishful thinking!

If you have ever visited the state of Idaho for more than one hour that is long enough to see that the weather is bi-polar. No joke it will be sunny for five minutes, windy the next five minutes, rainy and the cloudy the next five minutes and snowy the next five months! It is ridonculous. Let me just explain this week's weather. Monday snow, Tuesday wind, Wednesday wind, Thursday sunny, Friday sunny, and Saturday blizzard! Most retarded weather I have ever seen! I just want Spring and lots of flowers, I want Spring cleaning, I want jacket weather/ flip-flops. I am so sick of Winter but with the luck we have in Idaho, we will not have a Spring and have Winter until July!

This may be a little bit misleading, but I promise with the wind we get this is what it is like!

Guess you could say...

I guess you could say I like things to be neat 'n tidy. I love that growing up our family had a day dedicated to cleaning, called Saturday Cleaning, when I was in young womens instead of advertising for baby-sitting I advertised myself as a cleaning lady to people. My favorite thing to pin on pinterest is organizational and cleaning tips, I love to buy cleaning products, and I love to do laundry. Needless to say if Mr. Clean were an RM I would marry him!
Not attractive at all, but the fact that he is called Mr. Clean is all it takes!

Best weekend Ever!!

This weekend I got to come home and enjoy free laundry, home cooked meals, and hang out with some great people! It was such an awesome weekend I am sad to see it end and but I am really getting excited for my break from school and just to be home for a while with my family! This weekend was a four day weekend because today is Presidents Day. So Erica and I started our journey home in good old Roger, our car. We came home and just relaxed and enjoyed being home. Kyle and Heidi, and Shawna all came later that night. Saturday I went to one of my really good friend's baptism! I have known Dakota for a while, but this past summer we worked together and got to be really good friends! I am so happy for her! After the baptism it was my sister Heidi's bridal shower. She was pretty much the queen and the most popular one there you could say, but it was fun to see people from our old wards, old friends, and family. All of my sisters came home which was fun because we have a lot of fun when we are all together and it doesn't happen very often. I think the last time we were all together was Christmas and the next time will be for her sister shower! I will blog on that later! Sunday was church, and today, Monday we are just relaxing and enjoying our day off! I love being home, that saying is true There is no place like home! My family is basically the greatest one the is! Here are some pictures of our eventful weekend!

Driving home! It is never a dull drive with us together!
The best friends a girl could ask for!

Dakota's baptism! It was so fun to see all these girls

                                                            Some things never change!
