Weekend worth blogging!

This past weekend was definitely one worth blogging! We had a blast! Friday I wasn't feeling good, so I went and hung out with Hyle, that is my nickname for Heidi and Kyle. I spent the night and it was a great girls night because Kyle did homework all night. All we did is watch SVU and eat junk! It was great! Saturday I woke up and we made, well Heidi made, sausage biscuits and gravy. It was DELICIOUS! mmm mmm! I went home, did homework, planned a lesson for Relief Society- which I nailed! And just chilled! Saturday night I went sledding with my ward! It was so so so much fun! On the way there was quite an adventure. So before we even left, our bishop said ok there are two ways to get there. One way is really muddy and dangerous and the other way is pretty slushy but a lot easier to get through so take that way. So we are one of the last cars to leave and we just follow one of our friends out there...she works out there so she knew where she was going. Well it just so happens she decides to go the way the bishop said not to go and lets just say Hanna Scott's car Mega-Tron was a beast! The car in front of us not so much. They spun out and ran right into a snow bank! We just waited for our Bishop to come and save us but while we were there we just made it fun!

** Ok so my roommate has this random fear of humans crawling at her...like she FREAKS out! It is actually something that we all get a kick out of...not very nice but very entertaining!

After we got them unstuck we were on the road again...where we saw a herd of elk! I didn't get any pictures it was too dark but they were there I promise! After we saw the elk a baby moose was just trotting it's way down the road! It was quite an adventure I'd say!

Sledding was a blast...they had chili and cornbread, not cinnamon rolls like I grew up with but it was just as TASTY! But nonetheless it was so fun!

** Here is a video of Hannah Groom's and I going down the hill!

Sunday was great! Church was wonderful, and the CES fireside by Elder Bednar was great! Something that our apartment really enjoys doing is going for drives...especially on a Sunday night when there is nothing to do! We blast our music and jam out! Tonight was one of those nights...we added two extra girls who made the night just as great! It was a great way to end the weekend!

** Here is a taste of us serenading one of our good friends! Enjoy!
