Fathers Day Bash!

Well in case you haven't heard today is fathers day! Alllllll Righttttt....(apparently that is my trademark every time my family sees me they say alllll righttttt click HERE to get filled in!) Well let me tell ya this weekend was sure a good one, my Dad certainly got spoiled...but he certainly deserved it! I was thinking a lot about all the things my Dad has done for me and I lost count of all that my dad has done for me...just me...in my short 20 years of life! He truly is the most selfless, caring, goofiest, guy I know! Most girls would say, I'll always be daddies little girl...but I say I'll always be dad's little bud! This weekend everyone was able to come home, except Erica of course...Hyle came on Friday and Shawna came today (Sunday).

Friday Holli and I spent practically all day watching this show called Ghost Whisperer. It’s a pretty addictive show...I have recently accepted the fact that I get really into shows...I cry with them, and get excited with them it’s really pathetic but I love it! Well on Saturday we told my Dad we could/would do whatever he wanted to do. So he wanted to take Kyle to go work on the tractor he just bought...he took Holli, Kyle and myself and we were ready to help...except you have to understand how helpful two girls are that know nothing about tractors are except our hands were small enough to get in those crevices the boys couldn't so that’s how we helped other than that Holli and I just rode 4-wheelers around the shop!

After the tractor was done Dad wanted to go shoot guns...something I remember doing with him since I was a little kid. We went out to the desert and found some targets and shot away Holli and I were no where near as good as Kyle and Dad but we like to think that for girls we are pretty dang good!

It really was a great day! We went home filthy and enjoyed home made cafe rio salads! They were really good, we probably won't go back there ever again! (just kidding) but they were really good!

For Fathers Day my sisters and I got my dad every season of Hogan's Hero's a show he loved as a little kid! My mom got him a winch to load his four wheelers onto his trailer! We grilled steaks and rubbed his head and feet...something he has guilted us into for Fathers Day and his birthday since we were kids!

All in all I think this was a pretty successful Fathers Day! Don't know what I would do without this guy! He is the only guy who can do the happy dance with us, be crazy and goofy with us, and give us everything and more! Love you Dad!!!
