HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECCA!

So we decided to throw Becca a surprise party on Sunday night and it was quite a job…more than I even anticipated! We talked with her brother about making her dinner on Sunday and after much persuasion without giving away our plan he finally got her to agree! So immediately after church on Sunday we all had good excuses and left to go bake away, making a grand total of 80 cupcakes! We were planning on a lot of people and good thing too because her party was PACKED! We had people hiding in closets, hallways, you name it they were there! It was so fun! Poor Becca thought we didn’t want to hang out with her on her birthday because we all left so we all felt bad, but I hope the party made up for it!

 the best part is one of Becca’s good guy friends sang a 1 direction song just for her, Kiss You, she was so red and loved every minute.

 

Becca was so surprised and it was so so so so so fun! There was cake and of course cupcakes. We had a birthday button and a birthday hat for her to wear. She was known as the birthday princess. It was so fun, and I loved doing it for her!

Brooks from the Bachelorette!

That’s right, this important item deserves it’s own blog post! I was able to meet Brooks from Desiree’s season of the bachelorette! He was one of the final few, but HE broke it off with her and broke everyone’s heart, especially mine! I wanted him to win but that’s ok because he is still single! ;]

When I went up to take a picture he asked me if I watched the show and I said of course and he asked if I thought he was going to come back on the final episode and I told him I was wishing he would and then he hugged me and kiddingly said, “we gotcha good!” Oh my goodness he could have hugged me all day and I would have been just fine with that! He was one fine man! :] 

Awful plays and birthday decorating!

So I had to go to this play for a class, and I drug my roommate Becca with me! Needless to say it was the worst play I have ever been too and we both decided we would have much rather gnawed off our legs than watch the play it was THAT bad!

I also got to go to a pumpkin patch with Hyle and Kyle's sister Brooke! It was super fun, it was the first time of the season, but it was certainly a good one! 

On Sunday, today, it was my roommate Becca's birthday! We wanted to make it super fun so on Saturday night we took her shopping and out to dinner! She is so stinking cute and so innocent I just love Becca to death! 

After dinner and shopping we watched a movie and waited for her to go to bed so we could decorate for her party...which we thought would be easy because she generally goes to bed pretty early, but of course she decided to go to bed at 12:30 and not even fall asleep till almost 1! Which doesn't seem like much of a problem but when you have 9:00 church it is pretty rough! But needless to say we did it and she LOVED it! Funny story, so we were trying to be quiet of course so we don't wake her up but we got these balloons that were different sizes and some had a little too much air in them, and would pop just randomly! It was both scary and not good. We did this balloon avalanche on her door so that when she opened the door balloons would fall into her bedroom and of course the balloons kept on popping and I have no idea how it didn't wake her up but we were sure glad it didn't! 

Even though we didn't get done until about 3:00 AM it was well worth it and she loved it! I love Becca and we had even more in store for her on Sunday night! :]

Football and Sunsets!

Holy cow I am so behind on blogging it is not even funny! This semester is taking a toll on my life...but that's ok because I always look forward to the chance I get to relax and blog! 

A couple weeks ago my sister and I went to my "little" cousins football game! This kid is a stud and scored three of the four touchdowns! He's not so little anymore! 

My sister and I embarrassed him pretty good, gotta love seventh graders! 

Also one Saturday I was studying in one of the buildings on campus and when I decided to go to the bathroom, I leave shutting the door not even thinking if it was locked and come back to find EVERYTHING except my cell-phone was locked in this room on a Saturday afternoon with no one around! Awesome! Luckily some nice people gave me the idea to go to campus security and they let me in but wouldn't let me stay because if the door locks when it shuts that means they probably don't want anyone in there so I had to leave the comfy seats and go to a less comfortable room but luckily with all my stuff! 

The Fall sunsets here are so pretty lately! The weather has been so nice and it just feels good to enjoy fall for once!

October = Haunted Houses!

I have never been to so many haunted houses in my life...I have been to four in the past week! I went to Albion with my friends, and then this last weekend I went to three! It's so fun, and I guess that is what Halloween is for right?

On Wednesday my roommates and I were really annoyed with life and decided to pretend school didn't exist and watch a movie! It was so nice, we ordered pizza, got pops from Great Scott's, and watched a movie. It was really awesome!

Friday we went to a something called a Haunted Theater in Idaho Falls! It was so fun! This place is actually haunted and they did a really good job at scaring us! You go in this tiny tiny room and they talk it up, they tell you they can touch you, and explain how pitch black it is and how you need to keep your arms out because there are drop-offs and some pretty intense stuff. You crawl, get dropped on an elevator, almost get hit by a car, and so on! It was pretty awesome! Sadly I didn't get any pictures because it was all so fast, but just know it was really fun! 

Saturday night my roommate Ashton and I had a roommate date and went to dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe, and then went to the Haunted Forest with a group of friends. It was super fun! They take you out to the middle of this forest on a hay ride, and you follow the trail in the dark. It is kinda creepy and the trees lit up like it we were in a horror movie! 

All in all it was a great week/weekend! I can't believe we are already to the middle of October! Time is flying by! :]

Conference Weekend!

I went home this weekend for several reasons, but the most important being: I haven't seen my family in like FOREVER, and second it was General Conference Weekend! It was so nice to be able to go home and just hang out with my family! I seriously LOVE being home! 

Friday I headed home right after class and the Fall colors were so pretty...I am a sucker for a pretty picture! So I dangerously took some pictures but I still made it home in one piece! :]

Friday night Holli and I had some serious catching up to do...with Vampire Diaries! The 4th season is now on Netflix and we have been dying to see what happens! We are losers we know...but we are losers together and that is key! haha

Saturday the weather was beautiful! My Dad was kind enough to let me sleep in until 9:00...he had plenty of jobs for me to do! I love working with him though! He is one of my best friends, and I love helping him out! So we went out to my Grandma's and picked up cement from a ditch he had dug up! It was hard labor, but that is the life you live without any brothers! haha! Afterwords we went home and my mom made homemade chili, we watched the second session of conference, took naps and just relaxed! It was so nice! 

Saturday night Dakota invited me to go to the Haunted Mansions of Albion...pretty dang scary! And if you know me at all you know I don't do well with scary things...and this one is pretty intense! But luckily it wasn't as bad as I anticipated it but it was still super fun! My little sister Holli and her friend Tiffany came too! It was so fun! 

Sunday we relaxed watched conference had the traditional sausage, biscuits and gravy and did nothing! It was wonderful! I sadly headed back to reality on Sunday but I got to see Dakota one last time because, well long story short, she lost her senior sweatshirt and it was randomly in my trunk so I took that to her which was great because I got to see my best friend again! It sucks going to different schools, but our weekend parties are sure fun! :] 

My mom is so crafty, and generous and made the cutest milk cans for her mom and her sister! She is pretty awesome! I took this to my aunt and she was so excited...I secretly wanted to steal this for myself, but I didn't! But seriously these are so cute! 

I am seriously so blessed! I love my life!

P.S: We got Erica's Flight Itinerary today! She will be in Twin Falls on November 26th at 9:00 PM! Holy cow that is in only 6 weeks and 5 days people! I cannot hardly wait! Thanksgiving cannot come soon enough! :]
